These are steps to setting up your own dedicated server for Chivalry Medieval Warfare and Deadliest Warrior.
*** Note the steps shown are for Medieval Warfare. For a Deadliest warrior server Substitute the server downloaded from steam and navigate to the appropriate folder. Replace UDKLogging.exe with CDWLogging.exe and replace “PCServer-UDKGame.ini” with “PCServer-CDWGame.ini”
Step 1: Open Steam and click on “Library” and select “Tools”
Step 2: Install the server you want example (Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Dedicated Server)
Step 3: After Installation is complete navigate to your Steam folder default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalry_ded_server\Binaries\Win32
Step 4: Right click on UDKLogging.exe and select “Send to desktop”
Step 5: Right click on the newly created shortcut on your desktop and go to “Properties”
Step 6: In the Target field at the end of the line ending with “UDKLogging.exe”” and a space and enter your launch parameters for example:
AOCFFA-Arena3_p?steamsockets -dedicated=true -seekfreeloadingserver
Step 7: The “AOCFFA-Arena3_p” can be replaced by any map you choose.
To change additional options with the server, navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\chivalry_ded_server\UDKGame\Config
Right click on “PCServer-UDKGame.ini”
Here you can edit what type of server you want, admin options, and maps available.
